A co-production by the John J. Cali School of Music and the Department of Theatre and Dance

Based on the groundbreaking novel by Manuel Puig with a book by Terrance McNally, Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb and winner of multiple Tony Awards including Best Musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman revamps a harrowing tale of persecution which explores the complex relationship between two very different men forced to share an Argentinean prison cell in the 1970’s: Molina, a gay window dresser and Valentin, a Marxist revolutionary. Gradually, Valentin is drawn into Molina’s world of movie musicals and into a dazzling spectacle that juxtaposes gritty realities with liberating fantasies.

NOTE: This production is recommended for mature audiences due to adult themes, strong language and brief nudity.
