Café Buffé

Newband performs the premiere of Café Buffé, a one-act comic opera about food. Set in a café/restaurant/bar, the cast features a waiter and several patrons who tell their absurd stories, filled with endless plays on words, completely illogical statements, and extreme exaggeration. Eighteen musicians play a mixture of conventional, electronic, Harry Partch and Dean Drummond instruments.
