Debuting at the New York Fringe Festival before transferring to Broadway, winner of three Tony Awards including Best Book and Best Musical Score in 2001, this outrageously satirical musical imagines a corporate-dominated society where everyone must pay hefty fees to pee, or suffer their fate at a brutal penal colony called Urinetown.
